A 27-year-old died Thursday, Nov. 19 in a car crash that occurred on M139 near Dickenson Road in Royalton Township, according to the Berrien County Sherriff’s Department.

Demarcus Davis, of Benton Harbor, was driving north in a Ford Fusion on M139, when he drove off the roadway and through a line of fencing at approximately 6:47 a.m. Davis was the only occupant of the vehicle and was found dead at the scene. The weather does not appear to have been a factor in the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
