BENTON TOWNSHIP — Prospective students are invited to a firsthand experience of Lake Michigan College life during special Saturday tours of its Benton Harbor campus.

Saturday tours will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 18 and Dec. 9. Guests will receive free tickets to LMC Red Hawks women’s and men’s basketball games scheduled after the tours at 1 and 3 p.m.

Attendees can explore the new Hanson Technology Center, Beckwith Residence Hall and other points of interest. They will learn everything they need to enroll for the upcoming spring, summer and fall semesters.

“People are always welcome to visit our campuses, but these Saturday tours make it possible for high school students who are in class during the week to visit with their family members who may be working Monday through Friday,” said Vice President of Enrollment and Community Partnerships Doug Schaffer. “We also want to add convenience for post-traditional students who are exploring ways to advance their careers through education.”

Guests can sign up by calling (269) 927-8626. Those unable to attend on these dates are encouraged to call and arrange personal tours that work with their schedules.

LMC’s upcoming spring semester starts Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018. Class registration is now open.

Applicants who complete the admissions and registration process early will have more class schedule options and better opportunities for scholarships and financial aid.

LMC’s summer term begins May 14. Class registration opens March 12, or March 9 for U.S. veterans.

Students currently attending other colleges and universities can save money and earn transferrable credits by enrolling at LMC as guest students during the summer. Learn more at lakemichigancollege.edu/summer.
