Niles District Library to host Project Connect Nov. 9

Whether searching for a job or resources for disability, residents of Berrien County can find help during the annual Berrien County Project Connect.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Niles District Library, located at 620 E. Main St.

The event is free and open to the public and will include a multitude of services aimed at connecting individuals and their families with services and resources from Berrien County.

The agencies involved include housing and utility services, employment services, medical and dental services, veteran services, homelessness services and elderly and disability services.

Additionally, those who attend will have access to a free lunch, free event transportation and free take home bags for the first 100 people.

Those who need a free ride to the event are advised to call and schedule a ride by Nov. 8 with the Niles Dial-A-Ride Transportation at (269) 684-5150 or call the Berrien Bus at (269) 471-1100.
