Berrien County Cancer Service to host Play for Pink Sunday

The Berrien County Cancer Service is inviting the public to help fight cancer in the Play Fore Pink four-person golf scramble.

The event will take place at 10 a.m.  Sunday, Oct. 8 at Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club, 2520 Kerlikowske Road, Benton Harbor.

This eighth annual Play Fore Pink is a Denise Bohn Memorial Golf Outing to benefit local cancer patients with proceeds going to the Berrien County Cancer Service, Inc.

The cost is $75 per player or $300 per team. Fee includes: green fees and cart, chili and baked potato bar, free return round at LMH, awards and prizes.

To register, stop at Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club or call: Wayne Yamaguchi at (269) 849-2722 ext. 2. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Those registering will need to provide team captain information along with the email addresses of team members.

The Berrien County Cancer Service (BCCS) has been making a difference in the lives of people with cancer since 1948.  Its mission is to provide compassionate in home skilled nursing care and supportive resources for those affected by cancer or related illnesses in southwest Michigan.
