ONTWA TOWNSHIP — An accident resulted in injury at the intersection of US-12 and Sundance Drive Thursday, according to the Edwardsburg/Ontwa Police Department.

Officers responded to the injury accident at 4:57 p.m. Thursday at U-12 and Sundance Drive.

Initial investigation indicates that a vehicle not involved in the accident was turning from the westbound lane onto Sundance Drive. Chase Sager, 16, of Edwardsburg, swerved to the right to

avoid rear-ending the turning car, lost control, and hit an eastbound vehicle driven by William Graham, 30, of Edwardsburg.

Graham was trapped in the vehicle and needed to be extricated by Edwardsburg Fire Department. Graham was treated at the scene by Edwardsburg Ambulance Service and transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by Med Flight out of South Bend, Indiana.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
