Community Baptist Church on Harding Street in Cassopolis hosted a 9/11 remembrance service Monday evening to remember those who were lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. The event, which was free and open to the public, drew a small crowd who spent the better part of an hour praying for the country, the souls lost on 9/11 and the children that 9/11 respeonders left behind. The group also sang a number of hymn and each participant took turns speaking at the event. The prayer service was followed by a potluck meal. (Leader photos/SARAH CULTON)
