Built in 1860, this building was used as the Methodist and Baptist parsonage until 1872. Early settler Joseph Jacks lived here followed by the Don Kantz family. Mr. Kantz repaired cars in the garage on the south end of the house.  Paul Mayhew purchased the house where his daughter Cindy and husband Doug Ranschaert now live.
