PENN TOWNSHIP — one person was injured in a roll-over crash in Penn Township Saturday, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the crash around 8 p.m. Aug. 19. The single vehicle accident took place at the intersection of Gards Praire and Allegheny roads in Penn Township. The driver, Donald Tweedy, 37 of Dowagiac, was south-bound on Gards Prairie when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned multiple times.

Tweedy was injured in the crash and transported to Lakeland Niles by LifeCare Ambulance.

Alcohol and drug use is not known at this time. Seatbelt use is not known either.
