The Underground Railroad Society of Cass County is a three-year client of Accounting Consultants, and we enthusiastically add our congratulations to them on their 25th anniversary.

URSCC, like many nonprofits, ran by ledger, shoebox and IRS postcards for the first years. Then it became critical that we have an accountant.

Becky and Jim Moore were URSCC members since the beginning. I called and was given an appointment with Mandy Wallace, a meeting I’ll never forget.

I arrived with my paper, lots of paper.  I was nervous about change and totally skeptical about being able to put URSCC on Quickbooks and a professional basis.

Mandy was very pregnant with her son Ben. She was so sweet, so patient and so professional. I felt cared for and understood.

Mandy gently introduced us to Quickbooks and the world of 990s.  She patiently trained Mike Moroz and I, then was a mother hen during our marathon four-day transition, when we called her constantly.

Today I still call Mandy occasionally, and she is still lovely, patient and professional.

Congratulations Accounting Consultants, you have much to be proud of. We are happy and grateful to be one of your clients.
