Car Seats in South Central Michigan is hosting a free car seat check from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at Walmart, 2107 S. 11th St., Niles.

The check includes nationally certified technicians ensuring that children are in the correct car seat. Parents and caregivers will also be shown how to correctly install seats.

Free replacement seats will be available for Michigan children who to need one. The child must be present and in a motor vehicle. Expectant moms may also attend.
