ONTWA TOWNSHIP — A drug investigation turned up evidence of drug sales in Ontwa Township, according to the Edwardsburg/Ontwa Police Department.

A drug investigation was concluded at 4:59 p.m. Saturday in the 26000 block of East Shore Drive in Ontwa Township. A search warrant that was executed found evidence of drug sales at the residence. Officers seized marijuana, associated drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash from the scene.

A suspect has been identified and arrested, and his identity will be released pending arraignment.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
