ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Chemical Bank Foundation recently donated $75,000 in support of the Lakeland Medical Center Pavilion. Funds will support a commissioned artwork installation to be located within the renovated front entrance of the facility.

“We are delighted to join hands with so many benefactors in this community in support of Lakeland Health Foundations and the Lakeland Medical Center Pavilion,” said Richard DeVries, Regional President, Chemical Bank, South Region. “The artwork will be one of the first things people see upon entering the hospital and will help to further promote a healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors.”

“Community partners like Chemical Bank help make possible Lakeland’s mission-critical work of saving lives each day,” said Brandi Smith-Gordon, Vice President of Philanthropy and President, Lakeland Health Foundations. “We’re so grateful for the organization’s substantive gift to the Pavilion campaign which is a powerful symbol of their commitment to the health and wellness of our residents in southwest Michigan.”

To date, community members have donated more than $4.8 million in support of the Pavilion which is slated for completion in 2020.
