Two have been injured in a crash on Decatur Road and Dewey Lake Street, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the crash at 6:23 p.m. Monday.

The crash occurred when Steven Graham, 30, of Dowagiac, was driving east of Dewey Lake Street and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Dewey Lake Street and Decatur Road. Graham, not seeing any oncoming traffic, pulled into the intersection where he was struck by Breanna Kroeg, 33, of Lawton, who was driving south on Decatur road.

Kroeg and her passenger were transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo to be treated for crash-related injuries.

Deputies have determined that seatbelts were used and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, though the case remains under investigation at this time.
