Detective disrupt crack cocaine trafficking group

BENTON HARBOR — Detectives have disrupted a crack cocaine trafficking group in Benton Harbor.

The Southwest Enforcement Team’s west office, along with members of the Berrien County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant for illegal narcotics at 384 Marshall Ave., in Benton Harbor. The search, which was a result of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of cocaine, resulted in detectives seizing a quantity of crack cocaine packaged for distribution, more than an ounce of marijuana and other items related to the trafficking of ille-gal narcotics.

SWET-West detectives will be seeking charges on the suspects located at the house during the execution of the warrant.
