The Apocalypse Blues Revue played Saturday night in the Buchanan Common area as part of the Last Saturdays on the Common.

More than 100 people sat on the grass and listened to the blues and rock inspired band from Florida take the stage.

In addition to the live music, those who visited the Common could enjoy ice cream from Buchanan Sweet Shop and barbecue from JML Catering.

The summer concert series is sponsored by several Buchanan businesses including Inovateus Solar, Logistick, Lithotone, DPM Events and Redbud Hardware. Other sponsors included the City of Buchanan Downtown Development Authority and Adam and Krista Parin.

The music series is free, but those who participate are invited to bring a can of food to support the Redbud Area Ministries food pantry.
