The Beasley National Soccer School is returning to the Edwardsburg Sports Complex.

The day camp will be from July 24 through July 28 at the complex.

The camp, which offers fundamental, intermediate, creative footwork and goalkeeping programs, for boys and girls ages 5 to 17 years of age.

Each participant will receive a Beasley camp T-shirt and soccer ball and has the chance to win prizes and official autographed items throughout the week.

The curriculum for Beasley National Soccer School was created by DaMarcus Beasley and is based on his experiences with youth development and international level soccer.

The camp has been successful at developing young athletes throughout the region for many years.

Beasley, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, spent 16 years playing for the U.S. National Team and now plays for the Houston Dynamo as a part of Major League Soccer.

The Beasley National Soccer School camp is a unique experience as it is based on its low participant-to-instructor ratio, instruction by professional and licensed coaches, and the opportunity to meet professional players.

Because of his MLS season, DaMarcus Beasley is unable to attend the Michiana camp, but he will be visiting with the athletes via phone and video calls.
