DONALDSON, Indiana — Kayla Rowan, a graduate of Ross Beatty Jr./Sr. High School, has committed to the Ancilla volleyball team.

Rowan, an outside hitter, previously played under the direction of Rangers’ Coach Demi Schrader. Along with playing volleyball for the Rangers, Rowan also played for the Krush Volleyball Club in Niles.

A multi-sport athlete, she was also involved in basketball and softball.

“Kayla is one of those athletes who is calm and collected in stressful situations,” says Ancilla Volleyball Head Coach Jordan Weitzell. “Having that attitude on the team I think will benefit everyone, and she is a fun person to be around. I believe she will do great things on the volleyball team.”

Rowan plans to study athletic training and physical therapy when she attends Ancilla this fall. She is the daughter of Melissa and Eric Rowan of Cassopolis.
