The following is written on behalf of Cassopolis Michigan History Day Team.

We are writing to thank this wonderful community for allowing our Michigan History Day to compete at Nationals at the University of Maryland.

Even though our team did not advance to the final round, it was a wonderful experience. Ken Burns was our keynote speaker, and it changed our perspective about our place in the world. We understand that we are capable of taking a stand and making history.

We could not have gone without the fundraising assistance of Marjorie Yarger, who also volunteers with our team. We are grateful to the Deacons of the United Presbyterian Church, who have consistently supported us and who support many other worthwhile projects.

We would also like to thank the Church of Cassopolis for their generous contribution.

This kind of support makes it clear that we represent your hopes and dreams, and that by supporting us, you are investing in a positive future.
