JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — An Elkhart woman was injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon in Wayne Township.
Christine Zupsich, 49, was north bound on Daily Road around 5 p.m. Tuesday when a vehicle pulled out in front of her from Pine Lake Street, causing her to lose control of the motorcycle and crash, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
The unidentified vehicle was not located.
Zupsich was injured and transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by LifeCare Ambulance. She was wearing a helmet and the sheriff’s department reports that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The Edwardsburg Fire Department assisted with the incident, which remains under investigation.
