The Edwardsburg Lions Club honored three Edwardsburg High School graduates at the Convocation Awards Ceremony held at the Edwardsburg Performing Arts Center on Thursday, June 8.
Each year the Edwardsburg Lions Club recognizes three graduating students from the Class of 2017 in honor of Herbert L. Stiffler.
Herb Stiffler was a Lion for many years and was involved in the Christmas tree sales that the club has as one of their large fundraisers.
Each student was awarded a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice.
The three recipients of the award are Brayden Curtis, Joseph Hess III and Alison Strycker. The club felt all three of these students were serious in their studies, but also kept involved in community service. They also played sports or were involved in other clubs.
Edwardsburg Lions representatives are proud to honor students that show service to the Edwardsburg community and gives their best wishes for these three students.
