DOWAGIAC — The Dowagiac Conservation Club will be offering free hunter safety classes next month.

Registration for the three-day course will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, inside the club, which is located 2 miles north of Dowagiac on M-51 N. A birth certificate is required for all registrants.

The three courses take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 8. Attendance at all three meetings is required in order to receive a hunter safety card.
