All-State baseball players named

Edwardsburg senior Chris Griffin has been named first-team Division 2 All-State by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.
The Eddies’ pitcher Joe Raab was second-team selection, while former Dowagiac standout Mark Nate has been named Coach of the Year.
Nate led the Lakeshore Lancers to the Division 2 state championship with a 1-0 win over John Glenn in East Lansing Saturday.
Griffin hit .420 for Edwardsburg with 10 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 48 RBIs.
Raab was 7-0 on the mound with an ERA of 1.13. He struck out 81 batters in 49.3 innings.
Lakeshore’s Tyler Mojsiejenko and Max Gaishin were both first-team all-state, while Connor Brawley was a second-team pick.
In Division 3, Brandywine’s Toby Fox was named second-team.
Fox hit .488 with 16 doubles, a triple and 28 RBIs for the Bobcats.
