Niles High School students will spend the next two weeks transforming the alley on Second Street into a work of art. Students started the project this week.

Art teacher Peter Helm said the Niles Art Association recommended the location for an art project.

Niles High School graduate Evan Robison was eager to participate in the project.

“Art naturally brings people together,” Robison said. “It just gives me joy [to create art].”
