8U inferno takes first place at tournament

The Niles-Brandywine 8U Inferno softball team took first place at the Coloma Tournament over the weekend.

The Inferno defeated Bridgman 17-2, Dowagiac 23-13, Three Oaks/River Valley 19-13 and Dowagiac 15-7 to reach the championship game. The Inferno defeated Penn 22-7 for the title.

The Inferno will begin play in the Eaton Park Invitational, which begins Thursday.
