Linda Lou Jensen-Carey, 59 of Niles, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, with her loving family by her side.

Linda was born June 4, 1958, in Portland, Oregon, to Murray and Lorna (Robertson) Jensen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Murray.

Linda is survived by her mother, Lorna of Concord, California; her daughters, Lauren (Brenden Lambert) Carey, Lindsay (Cody Martin) Carey and Larkin Carey; a brother, Mark Jensen; a sister, Lisa (Neil) Milbrant; a niece, Alissa; and nephew Evan. She is also survived by her best friend, Michelle Gibson, as well as her two cats, Heyward and Dexter.

Linda lived in Niles most of her life. She was employed as a electronic medical records consultant. Linda was a Chicago Cubs fan, and she coached softball for many years. She also loved working in her garden and traveling.

A memorial service for Linda will be hosted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Fernwood Botanical Gardens.

The family would like to thank the Scripps-La Jolla CVICU Medical team for their support during this difficult time.
