One person was injured in a car crash at M-60 and Hoyt Street on Monday morning.

Authorities responded to the crash at approximately 10:38 a.m.

The crash occurred when Charles Ray Gross, of Cassopolis, and Robert Wayne Beadle, of Niles, attempted to turn north bound into a private drive and were struck by another vehicle driven by William Allen Martin, of Niles, according to a press release.

Beadle was transported to Lakeland Niles for his injuries.

Assisting at the scene were crews from Howard Township Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.

Authorities reported that the vehicle occupants were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, the release said.
