Dowagiac senior Grace Younger was named first team Division 3 All-District.

Younger was one of two Chieftains who earned a spot on the all-district team, which is selected by the district coaches.

Kellyn Daly was an at-large selecteion.

District champion Paw Paw dominated the team with five players named to the first-team. Ernesto Diaz was also selected as Coach of the Year.

Buchanan’s Erica Mitchell and Cora Schau were both first-team selections.

As a member of the first team, each player is now eligible for all-region honors.

The Division 3 All-Region team will be selected following the completion of this week’s state competition.
