The Junior Arts Club of Dowagiac will host its June meeting and luncheon Wednesday, June 7, in the restaurant’s large private dining room at Sorin’s. 

Sorin’s is inside the Morris Inn on the University of Notre Dame campus, 1399 N. Notre Dame Ave., South Bend. Attendees may park for free in BK 1 lot, west of the Eck Centre, where the main bookstore is located. 

Those who wish to utilize the Inn’s valet parking service may do, for $10 per car.

The speaker will be Notre Dame professor Linda Przybyszewski, who will give a presentation based on her recent book: “The Lost Art of Dress.”

Menu choices include:

• Sauteed lemon caper chicken with white wine sauce, saffron rice and summer seasonal vegetables, Morris Inn garden salad with white cabernet vinaigrette or citrus vinaigrette and Morris Inn dinner rolls.

• Grilled portobello with fingerling potato coins, steamed broccoli and soy dressing.  Morris Inn garden salad with the dressings described above and warm Morris Inn dinner rolls.

• Dessert will be custom raspberry mousse with chocolate cage with chocolate and raspberry sauce garnishes.

• Coffees and teas

Cost: $24, which includes tax and gratuity, payable by check at the luncheon.
