Cassopolis, Dowagiac hosting district tournaments

The Cassopolis and Dowagiac are hosting soccer districts, which begin Tuesday.

The Rangers are hosting the Division 4 districts and Dowagiac the Division 3 tournament.

Brandywine, Cassopolis, Dowagiac and Niles are all hosting first round games, while Buchanan and Edwardsburg hit the road for their tournament openers.

 

Division 2

The Vikings will host St. Joseph in an opening round match scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

The winner advances to Three Rivers, the district host, for Wednesday’s semifinals against the host Wildcats, who received a first round bye.

In the other half of the bracket, Lakeshore will host Vicksburg and Edwardsburg will travel to Sturgis.

The Eddies-Trojans match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

The championship match at Three Rivers High School will begin at 10 a.m. June 3.

 

Division 3

Dowagiac is hosting the Division 3 district tournament.

The Chieftains will host Parchment at 5 p.m. Tuesday with the winner advancing to the semifinals on Wednesday against the winner of the Berrien Springs-Buchanan match.

The Bucks will travel to Berrien Springs for a 5 p.m. match Tuesday.

In the other half of the bracket, Comstock will host Coloma a 6 p.m. Tuesday with the winner advancing to face Paw Paw in the semifinals.

The championship match is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 3.

 

Division 4

Cassopolis is the district host in Division 4.

Brandywine will host Bridgman in an opening round match at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Rangers will host New Buffalo at 5 p.m.

The Brandywine-Bridgman winner advances to the semifinals at Cassopolis to face Michigan Lutheran, while the Ranger-Bison winner will face Lake Michigan Catholic in the other semifinal Wednesday.

The championship match is set for 10 a.m. June 3.
