Brandywine announces half days, summer schedule

NILES — There will be a half-day of school on Monday and Tuesday, June 12 and June 13, for all students at Brandywine Community Schools.

Students will be released at the following times:

• Seventh to 11th graders, 10:50 a.m.

• Third to sixth graders, 11:55 a.m.

• Kindergarten to second graders, 11:45 a.m.

Brandywine Innovation Academy will have morning classes only on those days.

Office hours:

Beginning on Monday, June 12, the administration office will operate on a “summer hours” schedule.

The central office will be open 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 to noon Fridays. 

Normal business hours will return Monday, July 31.

Merritt Elementary School’s office will be open through June 30, and will reopen on Aug. 1. Office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Brandywine Elementary School’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 to June 30  Monday through Thursday. The building will reopen Aug. 1, with the hours of 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Middle/Senior High School’s office will be open through June 30 and will reopen on Aug. 1. Office hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 11:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Brandywine Innovation Academy’s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 14 through June 30.

The building will reopen 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Aug. 1.
