Roundup: Eddies, Bucks blank opponents

Noelle Kraus had three goals and two assists as host Edwardsburg blanked South Haven 8-0 in Wolverine Conference soccer Wednesday night.

Kraus scored the first three goals of the match in the span of nine minutes as the Eddies raced out to a 4-0 halftime advantage.

MaKenna Fonseca and Ashlee Low assisted on Kraus’ second and third goals respectively.

Fonseca completed the first half scoring with a goal off the assist from Kraus.

In the second half, Low scored a goal and assisted on goals by Shelby Ison and Emilee Ludwick.

Claire Bartz had an unassisted goal in the final 40 minutes.

Buchanan at Brandywine

After a scoreless first half, Buchanan scored a trio of goals in the final 40 minutes to defeat arch rival Brandywine 3-0 in BCS Athletic Conference soccer Wednesday.

Cora Schau had a pair of goals for the Bucks.

She opened the second half scoring with a breakaway goal and capped the scoring when she gathered up the rebound off her original shot on goal and scored.

Erica Mitchell made it 2-0 with just under 10 minutes remaining in the match.

Cassopolis at Bridgman

BRIDGMAN — Lauren Keller and Mikaela Owen both scored a pair of goals as host Bridgman defeated Cassopolis 6-1 in BCS Athletic Conference soccer Wednesday.

Macie Williamson and Anna Meyer scored the other two goals for the Bees.

Aysia Conley scored the lone goal for the Rangers in the second half.

Madison Suseland finished with eight saves for Cassopolis.
