Brandywine withstands Dowagiac upset bid

Host Brandywine withstood a strong upset bid by Dowagiac to win its won Bobcat Invitational at Plym Park Saturday.
The Bobcats swept the doubles flights to amass 30 points, while the Chieftains had one champion in scoring 22 points.
Constantine, which also had a champion, tied with South Haven for third place with 12 points.
Dowagiac’s Ally Hale was the No. 4 singles champion, while Constantine’s McKayla Brooks captured the No. 3 singles title.
Brandywine’s Shaylee Smith and Rachel Riffel were champions at No. 1 and No. 1 singles respectively.
