Students at Howard-Ellis are enjoying their newly renovated classroom.

The classroom is one of many construction projects supported by a pair of $40 million bonds that was passed by voters in spring 2015.

To thank residents for supporting the bond that will support renovations across the Niles Community School District, students in Mrs. Lake’s second grade class wrote thank-you notes and drew pictures of their new classroom. (Submitted photo)
