A goal in each half was just enough for the host Buchanan soccer team Monday night.

Cora Schau continued her goal scoring streak, while Erica Mitchell added a goal and an assist as the Bucks blanked Cassopolis 2-0 in BCS Athletic Conference action.

Schau’s goal in the first half was assisted by Kassidy Koenigshof.

Mitchell’s second half goal was assisted by Schau.

The Bucks’ two goalkeepers combined for 16 saves. Madison Schau made 10 in the opening 40 minutes of play, while Kayla Burkhard had six in the second half.
