Host Niles finished fourth at the SMAC West Division jamboree held at Orchard Hills Country Club Monday.

Portage Central, led by co-medalists Will Anderson and Justin Hannemann, shot 169 to earn the victory.

The Vikings shot 178.

Jared Ham and Alex Krueger both finished with a 43 for Niles.

Lakeshore’s Cooper Strebeck also shared medalist honors with his 41.

 

BCS East Division jamboree

THREE RIVERS — Buchanan finished second at the BCS East Division jamboree held at Pine View Golf Club.

White Pigeon won its second consecutive jamboree as it shot 172.

The Bucks finished with a 193, which edged Howardsville Christian by a stroke. Cassopolis was fourth with a 207 and Brandywine fifth with a 222.

Jordan Olsen of White Pigeon was medalist with a 38.

Buchanan was led by Austin Lloyd and Justin Cowles, both of whom shot 47.

Lane Francis shot 43 to lead the Rangers.

 

Niles Invitational

The Vikings shot 180 to win its own invitational last Thursday at Orchard Hills.

Buchanan was second with a 201 and Dowagiac third with a 213.

Niles’ Ham shot 43 to earn medalist honors.

Lloyd finished with a 45 to lead the Bucks, while Nick Saltzman shot 47 for the Chieftains.
