Crime of the week: Police search for RC car and plane thieves

Police are asking for information regarding the theft of $20,000 worth of remote control airplanes and cars taken from the garage of the residence.
The crime was reported at about 1:39 p.m. on April 4, when the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the 1800 block Ontario Road, in Niles Township in reference to a belated breaking and entering.
Officers arrived on scene, where they were met by the homeowner who advised that there was approximately $20,000 worth of remote control airplanes and cars taken from the garage of the residence.
Crime Stoppers wants the person or persons responsible for this breaking and entering and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.
