What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete?

CC: Qualifying for the state for the 4×800 relay.

 

What has been one of your biggest disappointments as an athlete?

CC: Not qualifying for the state in cross country.

 

What has been a hardship in your life?

CC: When my body was in serious pain and I had to push through the pain.

 

Who is a “hero” in your life and why?

CC: My mom, because she is my biggest supporter.

 

When are you the most nervous while you are competing?

CC: When I do not know how well my competitors run.

 

Describe an embarrassing athletic moment.

CC: When I twisted my ankle on a warm-up before a cross country meet.

 

How do you tend to work out/train when by yourself?

CC: I tend to push myself even more.

 

What other sport would you like to compete in if you were not playing yours?

CC: Swim team.

 

Why are sports an important part of a high school experience?

CC: Sports help people learn to work with others and create strong bonds.

 

How would you give away $50,000?

CC: To a family in need.

 

If you could be the head coach of a team for a year, what team would you choose?

CC: I choose to be head coach of the Buchanan track team to make it better.

 

If I did not play sports, I would…?

CC: I would volunteer more and get a part-time job.

 

What is the most challenging thing for you to do in your sport?

CC: To push it to my limit and then push past it.

 

If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?

CC: The logos on the uniforms can have one more on them.

 

What is the best compliment you have ever received?

CC: When I was told I was like a racehorse.

 

What was the scariest thing you have had to do? Are you glad you did it?

CC: When I first starting driving I was super scared, but I practiced more and now I am glad I love it.

 

What was the last thing you saw someone do that really impressed you?

CC: When someone fell at a race and another runners stopped and helped them finish.

 

What is your favorite hobby? Why?

CC: Reading, because it makes me relaxed and books take me on an adventure.
