Crime of the Week: Police offer reward for property damage

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on a series of malicious destructions of property that occurred in Fulkerson Park in Niles Township between Feb. 27 and March 31.
There have been approximately 32 complaints involving damage to mailboxes, smashed vehicle windshields, slashed tires and damage to satellite dishes in the Niles Township Fulkerson Park area, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
Crime Stoppers is hoping to find the person or persons responsible for the damage and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.
Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
Michiana Crime Stoppers is a donor-funded program that serves 12 counties in Michiana.
