NILES — One person reported minor injuries in a three-car crash that occurred in front of the Dollar Tree on S. 11th Street at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Niles Police Department Chief Jim Millin a jeep that was driving south on South 11th Street collided with a four-door Mercury vehicle that was traveling west bound, crossing 11th Street from Marion Street.
When the Jeep struck the Mercury, it sent the car into a pick up truck that was in the Dollar Tree parking lot.
There was a single occupant in each vehicle. All drivers were from Niles.
The driver in the southbound vehicle reported a minor leg injury and told authorities they would be seeking their own medical treatment.
Two Niles fire trucks, the Michigan State Police and the Niles Police Department responded to the crash.
