I read that Fred Upton wouldn’t say he supported Trumpcare.
But Fred was on the committee that wrote the bill.
When I called to ask Fred to vote “no” on the bill, his staffer said she didn’t know how he would vote, but “of course he wanted to repeal and replace Obamacare.”
I saw Fred speaking for Trumpcare on the House floor the day the bill was pulled for lack of votes saying “you have to get to first base before you can get to second.”
There was a lack of votes, but Fred Upton’s wasn’t one of them.
Fred Upton was willing to take health care away from thousands of us in the 6th District to give a massive tax break to people like him.
