SWMC establishes satellite counseling center in Buchanan

BUCHANAN — Southwestern Medical Clinic Christian Counseling and Psychological Services recently established a new satellite location on the lower level of Lakeland at Buchanan, located at 1045 East Front St., Suite B3.
Bradford Wilson, MS, MA, TLLP, and Kara Youngblood, TLPC, will see patients at the facility on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning April 1.
Wilson earned a master of science in psychology and master of arts in ministry from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Prior to his career in counseling, he was a minister, missionary and judicial administrator. Wilson primarily works with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, as well

as those seeking improvement with relationships, boundaries and self-esteem.
He has specific experience guiding adults through issues relative to past abuse and the transitions of early adulthood, career, pre-marriage,

marriage and dealing with the “empty nest.” Wilson also enjoys assisting individuals with the unique emotional and transitional challenges of senior life.
Youngblood earned a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Andrews University in Berrien Springs. She enjoys working with children and helping young patients overcome issues related to anger, attachment, parent-child problems, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
In addition, Youngblood has experience working with adolescent girls, adults, and therapy groups.
The practice helps individuals struggling with a wide range of emotional, psychological and spiritual concerns. Providers are not affiliated with any specific denomination or church and are respectful of all spiritual perspectives.
