Edwardsburg’s high school gymnasium was turned into a beautiful garden for the 46th annual Edwardsburg Presbyterian Women’s annual salad smorgasbord and style show March 16.

This year’s theme was “Welcome to our Garden.”

The state was arranged with an array of flowers, a picket fence and garden statues.

“It was a beautiful backdrop for the models during the style show,” said Tanda Stiffler of the Presbyterian Women’s Association. “The women’s association are very instrumental in the livelihood of the church as their fundraising efforts support the many missions that they participate in, including the backpack school program, the Adopt an Angel and the Winter Wonderland Christmas party, not to mention the many times they supported the upkeep of the church for repairs needed.”

The smorgasbord and style show is the largest fundraiser of the church, and while it is called the women’s event, it is far from that as the men of the church take care of all the ladies at this event by doing setup, serving, cleaning up the dishes and then helping with all the cleanup.

“They support our women of our church and this event could not happen without their help,” Stiffler said.
