Dear Fred and Jackie, If Trumpcare becomes law and you voted for it and people die (as they will) is that the same as being an accessory to murder?

If Trumpcare dies and nobody dies, but you voted for it, is that the same as attempted murder?

These are not snarky one-liners from some wag. I know for certain that the both of you profess to be Christian and claim that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

God does not split hairs.

If you kill somebody directly with a gun or indirectly by gutting the Affordable Care Act and people die subsequently (as they will) there is no difference in His eyes. Certainly the law is clear when a gunshot victim dies weeks or months later. It’s first degree murder, if it’s premeditated, like voting for Trumpcare.

Now I have no way of knowing if God considers it murder to stop a zygote from forming down the road into a human. I don’t think the Pope knows His thoughts on this, or even on birth control.
