The Niles Education Foundation sponsored a visit from comedian Craig Tornquist. The sponsorship allowed Students Against Destructive Decisions and Positive Behavior Support Niles Learning Communities to host the show at Niles High School.
Tornquist taught youth how to take positive risks, starting with coming up on stage to conduct a trick in front of audiences.
Tricks ranged from whistling after eating a cracker, making “big hair,” dancing, and being interviewed as 20 years older.
