Slideshow: Niles students compete in Science Olympiad

Ring Lardner students who competed in the Science Olympiad on March 7 will advance to the state competition, after winning third place at Lake Michigan College.
Students who competed had the opportunity to learn about science using hands-on skills and knowledge.
The state competition will be April 29 at Michigan State University.
The Niles High School team placed fourth overall and will not advance to state, but won first in material science and a gold medal in forensic science.
