A high wind watch is in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Westward winds have been projected to reach between 15 to 20 mph, with increasing wind speeds of 25 to 30 mph anticipated through out the afternoon. The weather service said wind gusts could even reach up to 50 mph.
It will be a sunny day, with temperatures around 50 degrees.
