A refreshing break from ‘fake news’

I applaud Leader Publications General Manager Ambrosia Neldon for her very informative column last Wednesday, about a bill that “would eliminate all public notices from newspapers.”

I appreciate that she included names and phone numbers of local representatives.

I have always believed that you can trust, “Very little of what you hear, half of what you see, but believe what you read in your newspaper (if there is an error, it will be corrected).”

I also enjoyed a letter from St. Joseph resident Kim Jorgensen Gane published in that same issue of the Star. I only wish Ms. Gane had included phone numbers of congressmen and senators.

My Daily Star does not publish “fake news” or “alternative facts.”
