Niles defeated rival Lakeshore 34-24 to win the Division 2 team district wrestling championship at Edwardsburg Wednesday night.

The Vikings routed St. Joseph in the semifinals, while the Lancers edged Edwardsburg to force the showdown in the title match.

Niles now heads to Stevensville where it will face Mattawan in the semifinals of the Division 2 regional tournament at Lakeshore High School Wednesday.
