Hundreds attend annual conservation club event

The cold was not enough to keep local hunters and outdoor enthusiasts away from the Dowagiac Conservation Club Saturday, as the organization hosted its annual Hunter’s Rendezvous that afternoon.

Hundreds attended the fundraiser, participating in raffles, silent auctions and some demonstrations inside the main clubhouse while having their hunting trophies scored and displayed inside the trophy barn.

The event raises money for the club’s youth activity programs, which includes hunter safety classes and group activities.
