After nearly eight months of construction, students at Ring Lardner got to utilize their brand new classrooms on Jan. 19.
The classrooms and upgrades to the Ring Lardner Middle School building were part of a $40 million bond initiative that was approved by voters in the spring of 2015.
Ring Lardner, which was built in 1964 received $4.9 million of the work, which went towards building upgrades and four brand new classrooms.
Howard-Ellis also received $5.5 million for upgrades of their own, which included new classrooms and a new gymnasium.
